2025 Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Commitment to Ethical Standards
At Tripy Mobility Teknoloji A.Ş., we are firmly committed to treating all individuals with dignity, equality, and fairness. We believe that everyone has the right to work freely and voluntarily, to receive fair compensation, and to be protected from abuse, coercion, and exploitation. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking in any part of our organisation or supply chain. Tripy actively works to identify, prevent, and address the risk of modern slavery and is committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure no part of our business contributes to the violation of human rights.
Organisation Structure and Business
Tripy Mobility is a micromobility technology company focused on delivering shared electric bicycle systems to promote sustainable urban transport. We develop software systems in-house, operate assembly and maintenance hubs in Türkiye, and manage international supplier relationships for hardware and spare parts such as IoT modules, batteries, and aluminium frames. We are expanding our operations into the UK, including employing local staff and engaging UK-based subcontractors.
Supply Chain
Tripy’s supply chain includes hardware manufacturers, spare part providers, logistics partners, and service subcontractors. As part of our compliance efforts, we assess our partners on criteria including labour practices, environmental impact, and ethical conduct. Supplier relationships are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with our values and applicable laws.
We are in the process of formalising our Supply Chain Responsibility Policy, which will further strengthen our due diligence mechanisms, including audit trails, documentation requirements, and risk-based monitoring.
Policies on Modern Slavery
Tripy is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any area of our business or supply chains. Our current policies — including the Fair Labor Practices Statement, Equality and Diversity Policy, and Government Living Wage Commitment — reflect our broader dedication to ethical employment.
We apply the same principles to all suppliers and subcontractors and expect them to adhere to the same zero-tolerance approach. No form of abuse, harassment, forced labour, or intimidation is tolerated in any form — including sexual exploitation, excessive working hours, discriminatory practices, or child labour.
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
As part of our onboarding process, all suppliers are subject to checks for compliance with ethical and labour standards. These checks include:
- Verifying company credentials and compliance with local labour laws
- Conducting background checks where applicable
- Requiring acceptance of Tripy’s fair labour principles
- Evaluating risk based on geography and sector
We are developing a more formal risk mapping and escalation procedure to flag and act on potential indicators of modern slavery.
Effectiveness and Monitoring
To assess our effectiveness in combatting modern slavery, we will monitor the following key performance indicators (KPIs):
- 100% of suppliers agreeing to our anti-slavery terms
- Internal and external audits conducted annually
- Employee and supplier training completion rates
- Number of incidents or whistleblower reports received and resolved
We will publish updates as part of our annual ESG and compliance reporting.
Training and Capacity Building
Tripy provides regular training for staff involved in recruitment, procurement, and supplier management. As part of our UK operations, we will introduce modern slavery awareness training for all operational and managerial personnel, supported by updated policies and escalation protocols. Our technical personnel training procedures already include modules on workplace safety and compliance, which will be expanded to include anti-slavery awareness.
Accountability and Approval
This statement was approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed and updated annually, and all UK-based activities will be carried out in full compliance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
