Why is every ride important?

We really mean it when we say that every journey counts. Below you will find calculations showing the positive effects of cycling compared to driving a car, train or e-scooter. These calculations are derived from a study commissioned by Tripy.

The study focused on the impact of bike sharing on our travel habits and examined what the savings from, for example, replacing a car journey with a bike journey mean in terms of health benefits, traffic congestion and CO2 emissions.

Tripy has a financial impact on society

With an average Tripy journey of 8 km, you save yourself and society 119.1 TL. For example, you reduce the risk of diseases such as cancer and diabetes and contribute to reducing air pollution by minimising traffic congestion and not using fossil fuels.

Our Commitments

As Tripy, we are committed to pushing ourselves and the entire mobility industry to redefine the concept of sustainable mobility. Our goal is to contribute to the development of sustainable cities not only tomorrow but also today!

Tripy emphasises the importance of establishing and promoting global standards in the field of sustainability. Today, sustainability aspects such as environmental impact, social responsibility and economic balance are becoming increasingly important in the mobility industry. Therefore, Tripy aims to contribute to the establishment of clear and universal sustainability standards in the sector.

To this end, Tripy plays an active role in international platforms and promotes sustainability principles by working in co-operation. While continuously improving its own sustainability efforts, it focuses on meeting the expectations of stakeholders by adhering to the principles of transparency and accountability.

As Tripy, we will continue to work steadfastly to promote sustainability at a global level and contribute to the mobility industry moving towards a sustainable future.

Accessibility of transport to a wide range of people contributes to more inclusive and equitable functioning of societies. Therefore, Tripy encourages transport systems and services to be easily available to users of different age groups, income levels and needs.

Tripy takes various measures to achieve this goal. These include providing user-friendly tools and services, supporting the development of accessible infrastructure and raising awareness in society. In addition, Tripy encourages progress in this area by contributing to policy development processes on transport accessibility.

As Tripy, we will continue to work steadfastly to ensure that transport is accessible to all. This endeavour will contribute to societies building a more equitable and sustainable future.

Tripy acts with a mission that emphasises the reduction of emissions in cities. Cities make a significant contribution to environmental impact with their dense populations and mobility. However, this density can also lead to increased emissions and deepen environmental problems.

Tripy takes various measures to address this problem. By offering electric bicycle rental service, it contributes to making urban transport more environmentally friendly and sustainable. Electric bicycles emit much less carbon emissions than conventional motorised vehicles and can improve air quality in cities.

We will continue to work for a cleaner and livable environment by continuing our efforts to reduce emissions in cities. We aim to contribute to the sustainability of cities by encouraging the use of electric bicycles and supporting environmentally friendly transport alternatives. In this way, we aim to improve the quality of life of people living in cities and reduce environmental problems.

Tripy is driven by a mission that emphasises the improvement of public health. Changing mobility habits in cities can positively affect the health of individuals. However, today’s modern lifestyle often encourages inactivity, which can lead to an increase in obesity and many chronic diseases.

Tripy is taking various measures to address this problem. By offering electric bike hire, it encourages people to adopt a more active lifestyle and helps reduce air pollution in cities. Cycling not only supports cardiovascular health, but also reduces the risk of obesity, strengthens the immune system and improves overall health.

We are at the forefront of the fight against a major public health problem such as obesity. By promoting the use of electric bicycles and supporting active lifestyles, we aim to help people live healthier lives and reduce the risk of obesity. In this way, we aim to improve the overall health and quality of life not only of individuals, but also of society as a whole.
